Anastasiia Furtak is a qualified pediatric surgeon and general surgeon. The doctor graduated from Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University with a degree in General Medicine, a master’s degree, and specialization in Paediatric Surgery and General Surgery. She is constantly improving her skills through courses and trainings. In 2025, she completed courses and received certificates in ACLS and damage control in surgery.
From 2019 to 2024, she worked as a general and pediatric surgeon during medical missions in Ghana, Africa; South Carolina, USA; in short-term mobile medical clinics in Guatemala and in rural areas in eastern and western Ukraine. She practiced as a pediatric surgeon at the First Lviv Medical Association ‘St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital’.
Since 2021, she has been a member of the American College of Surgeons. In parallel with her internship, she taught Surgery and Intensive Care at the Novhorod-Siverskyi Nursing College, where she gained teaching skills.
She participated in social and religious projects and worked as an English translator for the Church and Christian volunteer organizations.
