Nutritionist

Yaryna Kolisnyk, Ph.D., is a certified nutritionist and healthy lifestyle consultant, microbiologist, and associate professor of physical therapy and occupational therapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Ukrainian Catholic University.

Following the scientific and evidence-based principles of integrative and functional approaches, she conducts a comprehensive analysis of the patient’s health status. He helps to assess nutritional and other lifestyle habits, develops an individual programme of nutrition, physical training, sleep normalisation, and stress reduction following the goals, characteristics of the patient’s body, preferences, and lifestyle. She makes recommendations on vitamins and minerals to eliminate deficiencies and reduce the risk of developing diseases. She accompanies and supports patients at every stage of change, motivates them to move towards their goals, helps them form sustainable and healthy habits, teaches them to control their health without strict restrictions and stress, and prevents the development of diseases.

She studied at the educational certification programmes of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, the UCU Institute of Mental Health, Ecoltava and Austausch e.V., the Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt), Naukroom, Natalia Vlasnyuk Holistic Health School, Tetiana Kikhteva Wellness School of Nutrition, Dr. Skytalinska Academy of Longevity, the International University of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Academy of Applied Human Sciences, and the University of Toronto. Skytalinska, Dr Tolstikova School of Health, Institute of Postgraduate Education of NUFT, International University of Nutrition and Dietetics, Coachify Academy of Applied Humanities (IPHM, CMA, and CPD (The United Kingdom), NHS Academy, Physiopedia. She is studying for a master’s degree at the Gorbachevsky Ternopil Medical University.

She did her internship at the University of Westminster, Department of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology (London, England); University of Rzeszow, Faculty of Medical Sciences (Rzeszow, Poland); Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, Department of Physical Therapy (Utrecht, the Netherlands). She has worked as an expert in the Healthy Workplace project (UCU Public Health Development Centre, Ukrainian-Swiss project ‘Acting for Health’).

She is a member of the S.M. Vinogradsky Society of Microbiologists of Ukraine (FEMS member), the Association of Health Coaches of Ukraine, and the Association of Fitness and Nutrition Professionals of Ukraine. She is constantly improving her knowledge and skills as a speaker and participant of national and international conferences, congresses, and trainings.
