Yelyzaveta Dotsenko is a project and program manager, a general practitioner with extensive experience in medical practice, who has worked in international missions, including with the humanitarian organization STEP-IN. For 12 months, she provided medical care in Iraq, in the only medical centre of a camp for 5000 refugees. Yelyzaveta is a certified emergency medical care instructor (Instructor Potential ALS from the European Resuscitation Council).<\/p>\n
She is the founder of the humanitarian organization STEP-IN Ukraine, which is a branch of the international humanitarian organization STEP-IN. From the first day of the full-scale invasion, she joined the volunteer movement and coordinated the delivery of humanitarian aid from Slovakia, Ireland, and the United States. She has management skills in the medical field and experience in implementing humanitarian projects.<\/p>\n
Yelyzaveta Dotsenko graduated from Danylo Halytskyi Lviv State Medical University with a degree in Family Medicine and completed her internship at the 2nd City Polyclinic in Lviv. She graduated from the certificate program of the UCU School of Bioethics<\/a> and later received a master’s degree in bioethics from Loyola University Chicago.<\/p>\n She practiced at the Department of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery at Lviv Regional Hospital and in the pediatric cardiac intensive care unit at the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
