The occupational therapist has the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience, and adheres to the principles of human centredness. The specialist works with patients with neurological diseases (TBI, AMI, tumours) and musculoskeletal disorders. As a specialist, Anastasiia develops individual rehabilitation plans, adheres to the ICF philosophy (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health), and works with civilians, military personnel, and veterans.
Anastasiia Kravchenko has been practicing since 2022 at the Medical Rehabilitation Centre of the First Territorial Medical Association in Lviv, first as an occupational therapist’s assistant and later as an occupational therapist.
In 2023, she received a master’s degree from the Ukrainian Catholic University in physical therapy and occupational therapy. In 2021, she received a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy at the Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture. She completed a semester-long programme in physical therapy and occupational therapy (manual therapy, EMG, anatomy, rehabilitation after neurological diseases) at the Academy of Physical Education in Wroclaw (Poland) as part of the Erasmus exchange programme.
She also completed internships at the Utrecht University Rehabilitation School (Netherlands) and the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (USA), where she mastered visual rehabilitation of military personnel after traumatic brain injury due to explosive trauma. Anastasia has completed numerous trainings, courses, and additional studies and participated in conferences on occupational therapy.
