The doctor conducts preventive gynaecological examinations, colposcopy, ultrasound of the pelvic organs, diagnoses and treats various gynaecological pathologies, such as menstrual disorders, endometriosis and adenomyosis, cervical pathologies, female genital infections, menopausal symptoms, urinary incontinence, uterine fibroids, and ovarian cysts.
Iryna Stelmakh specialises in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology. She also diagnoses and treats infertility, helps prepare for pregnancy, manages pregnancies, and performs early pregnancy ultrasounds.
She worked as an obstetrician-gynaecologist in the emergency obstetric and gynaecological care department and provided treatment in the obstetric ward at the Khmelnytsky Regional Perinatal Centre. Before that, she worked in women’s clinics in the city hospitals of Derazhnya and Chornyi Ostriv.
She graduated from Vinnytsia National Pirogov Memorial Medical University with a specialisation in ‘Doctor of Medicine.’ She completed her internship at the Khmelnytskyi Municipal Perinatal Centre. In 2023, she received her master’s degree and is currently pursuing a doctorate in medical ethics and health policy at Loyola University Chicago. She completed an internship in gynaecology at the gynaecology department of the Sant’Orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic in Bologna, with a grant from the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG). She is the author and editor of analytical articles on obstetrics and gynaecology in the publication INgenius.
