Mariia Stanko is a qualified general practitioner and hematologist with over 9 years of experience. She continually works on enhancing her competencies, constantly learning and improving her skills. Mariia specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various diseases in adults. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was actively involved in COVID response teams, working night shifts.
She believes that a qualified doctor must pursue lifelong learning throughout their career. Mariia is responsible and communicative, placing particular emphasis on building trusting relationships with her patients.
Mariia Stanko worked as a general practitioner in the Second Therapeutic Department at the Lviv Railway Clinical Hospital. Later, she transitioned to the position of outpatient general practitioner and day hospital physician in the same medical institution.
She received her education at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, where she obtained a Specialist Degree in General Medicine. Later, she completed an internship in the specialization “Internal Medicine” at the same educational institution. Every year, she participates in courses within the framework of the Continuous Professional Development project. In 2024, she received a certificate in haematology. In total, she has completed over 100 medical courses and training programmes, including a BLS+bleeding control course in 2025. She speaks English and Polish.
